Spring 2025 Normative Studies
The current normative surveys include the school version of both the youth and parent questionnaires. The youth questionnaire includes 18 content scales, with 3 - 10 items in each of the following areas:
Anger Anxiety Disorders Autistic Sensitivity
Disobedience Emotional Distress Family Support
Gaming Addiction Negative Peer Influences Peer Rejection
Posttraumatic Stress School Attention-Deficit School Misbehavior
School Underperformance Self-Esteem Social Media Addiction
Social Support Somatization Substance Abuse
Suicidal Ideation Thought Disorder Weight Issues
There are equivalent scales in the parent questionnaire, with some additional items that are too sensitive to include in the youth questionnaire. Those items ask about any history of trauma, such as sexual and physical abuse, stressful family circumstances, sexual acting out by the youth, antisocial behavior for the youth, and issues surrounding gender for the youth.
The youth questionnaire consists of 132 items plus three demographic questions, and the parent questionnaire consists of 105 items plus 11 demographic questions. Most people complete the questionnaires in 10 - 20 minutes.
